Most of the moisture associated with John affected New Mexico and western Texas. The National Hurricane Center has issued its last update on John on Monday, September 4th @ 8am. We saw very little, if any, moisture from John here in the Coachella Valley.

Typically, this time of year we see thunderstorms blossom over the mountains surrounding the Coachella Valley and don’t see much rain, if any, on the desert floor. Not today!
