Winds Affect Overnight Temperature

Breezy conditions don’t allow temperatures to drop as low as they would if it was calm.
Take a look at the 2 graphs below. It clearly demonstrates that, on the night of the 22nd when there was a breeze, the temperature only dropped to the low 50’s compared to the 30’s on the other nights.

4.0 Earthquake

The valley experienced a minor 4.0 earthquake 7 miles east of Coachella Saturday evening at 7:43pm. It was widely felt by many here in the valley. For more info visit the Earthquake page or the USGS.

December 16th, 17th Storm Totals

Here in the valley we managed to stay dry with this past storm. The storm didn’t tap the ocean moisture as predicted.
