Earliest season snowfall for Idyllwild.
On this day in…
1961: A tornado in Carlsbad caused property damage.
1949: 2.5 inches of snow fell in Idyllwild and two inches fell in Palomar Mountain. Each snowfall is the earliest measurable snowfall for the season on record.
