DesertWeather.com is quickly becoming a popular location for both locals and visitors alike to obtain weather information for the Coachella Valley. Since January 2004 we have been growing at a steady pace and in 2010 we expect to exceed a quarter million page views!
With this increase in visitors comes an increase in costs. DesertWeather.com is not commercially owned and all costs must come from myself, John. All revenue generated from advertising is reinvested back into the website via equipment upgrades, equipment maintenance, hosting costs, etc.
125×125 Advertising Slots
Sample Size
Currently we are offering 125px by 125px ad slots that are priced at $30 for 30 days. That’s a dollar a day! Currently (but subject to change) ads will be placed both on the main site, Blog, and Photo Gallery. One ad purchase covers at least 1 placement on each the main site, Blog, & Photo Gallery.
You will also receive weekly reports with your ad purchase that will show stats (clicks, impressions, etc)
If needed, we will create the ad for you at no additional charge.
We will not accept any advertisement that is not in “good taste” and reserve the right to refuse requests. At this time we prefer Paypal for payment. We do accept checks but require at least 6 months payment in advance and 7 days before your ad appears. If you wish to pay via check please contact john@desertweather.com for instructions.
We have just implemented a system to automate purchases, payments, and renewals. When you purchase an ad you will see an option on the purchase form for a “subscription”. This means that the ad will automatically renew and you will be charge automatically until you cancel. The subscription option is not required but if not selected you will be responsible for renewing after the length of your ad.
