Mild off shore winds due to high pressure brought above normal temperatures today to most of Southern California. Several record high temperatures were set today. Here are a few from the National Weather Service:

High temperatures dropped as much as 15 degrees today (see climate report here) from yesterday as a result of a strong cold front pushing through. Gusty wind are expected thru Saturday.
