After 6 weeks of development the new design is finally finished! The new cleaner design is a huge improvement over the old aging one. It almost has a “web 2.0″ look if you want to call it that. Also more of a “desert feel” as “Old Jim” put it. I have to agree with him.

I’ve made some changes to the main menu. In trying to consolidate similar areas of DesertWeather, a new menu item “History & Records” has been added.

As we are in the middle of the summer Monsoon season, this week I added a few additional maps to the “Weather Maps” menu on the main DesertWeather site. These map will assist in determining thunderstorm development in our area and more importantly flash flooding potential.
