Thanks for the update John. We will stay tuned to DesertWeather for more information as it comes in. Any changes like this usually means associated winds. Hope they aren't to severe.

I think I over hyped the header change. Around sunrise and again at sunset it changes from sun logo to moon. I'm working on some code that will display the moon's current phase instead of full moon all the time. I'm glad you like the change Jim.

This was a fantastic surprise when I logged on to DesertWeather for the first time today. What a great looking page. Easier on the eyes and easier to navigate in my opinion. I cannot wait to see the surprise with the header throughout the day. Great work John!!

Some great photos by the Lightning Lady. As a photographer myself when she said "After trying for this image for several years" is truly an understatement. Photos of this quality just don't happen, she has worked hard for them.

Thanks for the link John.

What a day yesterday here in Thousand Palms when the rain and hail came down. I could see the neighbors open their curtains but not dare go outside. Living in a Mobile home with aluminum awnings the noise from the hail was deafening. Thanks for the stats John.

Yea, Jim tornadoes aren't good. I didn't think it was to windy yesterday? Compared to weeks past, yesterday's winds were relatively calm. Boy, I'm certainly enjoying the cool overcast weather! I'm going camping this weekend up in the San Jacinto Mountains for the first time this year, I think i'm going to freeze!

What a wild day John. Sure glad we were not in the path of the tornado though at times I thought we were with all the wind we had.
