Wow, it was nice today. But we had to deal with the winds! The winds affected most of us overnight but by sunrise they calmed down in and around the southern cove communities. 83 degrees was the high here today in Thousand Palms. That’s 19 degrees below normal for this time of year.

If you traveled the north side of the valley today you surely felt the impacts of the wind and blowing dust. The winds didn’t let up with gusts exceeding 45mph, the dust did cause slow downs on Interstate 10 around mid day.

What’s next… back to seasonal temps (102) by the weekend.
