For the past 2 weeks we’ve seen nothing but nice weather here in the desert. With temperatures in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s it couldn’t be nicer. High pressure over the Southwest has dominated bring us these seasonal temps. But all good things must end. This coming weekend the jet stream is expected to drop south and bring in some cooler temperature only forecasted to be in the upper 60’s by Sunday. With the cooler temperatures, showers are expected throughout California and possibly the LA Basin. So far, here in the valley, the chance of any precipitation stands at 20% (keep an eye on the forecast page for any increase/decrease in the possibility of showers for the Coachella Valley).
