Drier conditions

Since about the 2nd week in July we’ve been saturated by the steady flow of monsoonal moisture from the south! Well as you have most likely felt for yourselves lately we are finally returning to the “It’s a dry heat” conditions that the desert is known for. We’ll have to wait and see if the humidity returns to the more typical moist pattern that we see in August and September.

On a temperature note… we have averaged about 8 degrees cooler than normal lately thanks to the strong onshore flow the coast has been experiencing. This cooling tread is expected to remain for the next several days!

Note the difference in humidity & dew point levels from yesterday:
