It was certainly drier today with dew point levels as much as 20° lower than the past few days. See the graph below for the past 2 weeks and you can see its been quite “sticky” up until today.

The dryness won’t last. A surge of moisture will return starting Saturday night thru Tuesday with thunderstorms forecasted both Sunday & Monday. Below is the Flash Flood Potential Index map released by the National Weather Service (San Diego).

I’m going up to Writewood today to do some photography. Hopefully I can get some photos of the storm moving in. I hope we get some moisture out of this (but not to much).

wow, the moisture came in with vengence! Dew Points were in the mid 40's just after midnight increased to the mid 70's this morning!
