Finally the weather is changing. One of my favorite feelings in life is the chill in the air when I first go out in the morning. Yesterday and today has been fantastic. Sit down outside with your favorite beverage mine being coffee and listen to the birds wake up and then the sun rise. Can't get much better than that.

Personally I'm waiting for the first major cool down with nights in the lower 60's and not over 90 in the afternoons. Typically around the second week in October is when we see this.
This might be fun, a prediction game…… First major cooldown: I predict October 10th!
anyone else want to throw in a prediction?

If we go by the Detailed Weather History on Desert Weather it appears you won this one John. On the 11th the high never went into the 80's and the low's were in the lower 60's. It got into the mid 80's here in Tri Palms but my thermometers are nowhere near as accurate as yours.
