DW reported the wind here in Thousand Palms had a gust of 47mph last night. Is that all? It sure sounded like more. I heard things blowing around all over my neighborhood. If I did not have to go to work I'd drive around and see if I could get any weather related photos. Hopfully there is no damage around.

That was the strongest sustained winds I have seen in awhile! The only thing I noticed today as a result was a palmtree blew over down by Circle K!

Yea the tree was a block north of Circle K!
As far as photos, I think that would be great to have the ability to have you, and any other user for that matter, be able to post photos to a gallery. It would really add alot to Desertweather.com to have that photo element which would include weather events, landscapes, and other things that are related. I'll try to get that going next week!
