At 6am this morning I had .02″ of rain here at Tri Palms Estates. By 8am this amount has increased to .05″. This is not much at this point but certaily more than we have seen in quite awhile.

I hope Desert Weather gets some more reports from other people throughout this day on the weather in thier areas. I will keep reporting mine during this storm cycle.

John here, i'm in Rancho Mirage and have a rain guage installed here (Appx Highway 111 and Bob Hope Drive)

As of 9:30am 0.31 of an inch recorded.

Another report just e-mailed to me from Cook Street and Fred Waring Drive in Palm Desert:

“On and off for 3 hours this morning a nice heavy rain around 7am Rain Gauge reading of 0.21″
