Hello fellow Desert Weather viewers,

I go by the handle of Old Jim but as the header says you can call me Jim. I'm a 60 yr + male living in Thousand Palms CA. My main interest is my life long friend and wife Pat. Photography is my second love. Most of my photography is wildlife related however I hope to add some weather photos soon. I am really excited by Desert Weather as it is a lot more accurate and informative than any of the major media weather centers and it is LOCAL.

Come on you lurkers out there. I personally would like to hear from you as I am sure the author of this site would too.
