As Hurricane Dean plows past the Yucatan Peninsula and back into the lower Gulf of Mexico, I’m starting to more closely monitor the forecast models to see if Dean’s remnants will filter into southern California. Its still a little early with some models having Dean continue west into the Pacific. As of today (Tuesday) the National Weather Service’s forecast for Sunday and Monday have noted a “slight chance” for thunderstorms, but again, too early to tell at this point.

John Nice site for telling where Dean might go, but our luck maybe we will get some of that Rain we could use it for the fire at snow creek fire by the p.s. tram or highway 10.
