November 30th Storm Update

Light to moderate rainfall began around 6am on Friday and continued throughout the day until 2am this morning resulting in a total of 1.33 inches for Thousand Palms. This is the most rainfall we have seen, from one storm, since October 2005 and ends a 227 day dry spell! Here at DesertWeather.com we follow the “California rainfall season” which runs from July 1st to June 30th. We are at 1.33 inches putting us near normal rainfall for the season.
