Storm System to Affect California Monday & Tuesday

Posted by John in Topic: General

Another storm system is expected to affect California Monday & Tuesday. But will it give the much needed rain we lack here in the Coachella Valley?

It will bring cooler temperatures to the Valley. As far as rain, there is only a 10-20% chance of rain for us here in the valley. We need the rain! Per the National Drought Mitigation Center, some of Southern California and far western Arizona, has been promoted to “Extreme” drought status. The little system we saw in the last few days didn’t produce much rain here in the valley so no relief was seen.

These storms just need to get a little more energy. I was in Idyllwild last Wednesday and it rained on that side of the mountain.
