Here is an interesting tracking map from Weather Underground of the GFDL Model of Hurricane Dean’s potential path and strength as it crosses Mexico’s main land and then travels up the Gulf of California. As Hurricane Dean plows past the Yucatan Peninsula and back into the lower Gulf of Mexico, I’m starting to more closely monitor the forecast models to see if Dean’s remnants will filter into southern California.
