After a dry January with no measurable rain and above normal temperatures, we finally saw a nice light to moderate rain this morning. Starting around 4:15am the rain was moderately steady through the 6 o’clock hour. The heaviest rainfall rate was around 5am at 0.29″ per hour. Winter (Winter Solstice) officially arrived today at 4:04am.  The days will start to become longer again, and the nights shorter.
