The Coachella Valley, and surrounding areas, got a good steady dose of light rain Sunday morning. It started around 1am and lasted until 10am with rain totals around a half an inch here in the valley. No major Flooding was reported due to the light nature of the rain.

Results of a strong low pressure system dropping south and pulling in some cold north air behind it, the valley saw some cool temperatures and rain. Also in the mountains surrounding the Coachella Valley we saw some unusual snow amounts(2000 foot snow levels).
