The Coachella Valley, and surrounding areas, got a good steady dose of light rain Sunday morning. It started around 1am and lasted until 10am with rain totals around a half an inch here in the valley. No major Flooding was reported due to the light nature of the rain.
Snow levels dropped to around 3500 feet resulting in a very nice coating in the surrounding mountains. For most of the morning we saw snow on the Little San Bernardino! Unconfirmed reports show 2 inches of snow in Yucca Valley, 6 inches in Pinyon, and 9 inches at the top of the Palm Springs Tram.
